Daughter of successful entrepreneurs Stephanie and Erick Luther, Madison’s love for event planning was sparked in middle school as she orchestrated after-school movie nights and planned school dances, and that spark was later fanned into a flame when she joined the family business, working as the catering coordinator for The Standard Social Market. This March, Madison followed further in her parents’ footsteps, embracing her own entrepreneurial spirit and launching her event planning business, Madison Luther Event Co.

When asked what a successful event looks like to her, Madison explains that while the ultimate goal is always to make the customer happy, she also strives to create an event that is different, one that will leave a lasting impact. “When I attend events, I feel that most parties end up resembling one another,” she said. “I want the guests of the event to leave saying ‘Wow I haven’t seen that before’ or ‘What a fantastic idea.’ That is so important to me.”

Madison is a convivial person at heart. She gets excited by all things in life, big and small, and no matter what event you are celebrating she treats it with as much care, excitement, and attention to detail as if it was her own. Her favorite part of event planning is that every day is a celebration and she gets to spend her workday celebrating it with you. “I get equally as excited about your son’s 5th birthday, your engagement, and your favorite coworker’s retirement as you do,” she states. “It is hard not to be happy working when you are planning a party.”
