Sarah-Ashlyn grew up on a farm in Shelbyville, Tennessee, but she now lives in Hazel Green with her husband, son, and her two dogs, Aspen and Rocky. As a child, Sarah-Ashlyn wanted to be veterinarian or writer when she grew up. She now has a bachelor’s degree in English from Freed-Hardeman University, and she enjoys training her dogs, writing short stories, and working on numerous sewing projects in her spare time.
